God has continued to work through my life lately. I have a rather personal story to tell you guys and how God held me up throughout it. Many years ago, before I knew how much God loved me, I stole some money from my neighbor without him knowing it. I tried my best to forget about it and finally I asked God for forgiveness. He forgave me and I forgot about it for a time, until I began to feel that He was calling me to do more than pray to him in private. So yesterday after my very first pay check at my new job, I walked over to his house. I was terrified that he would be angry of slam the door in my face or yell at me so I prayed and prayed. He answered the door after I knocked and there was an awkward period of time when I told him that I needed to speak to him. I told him what I had done and I handed him the envelope. He opened it up, looked inside, then looked back up at me. Then he smiled and hugged me. The relief! God answered my prayers! Oh right, then there was CORNBREAD for dinner tonight !!!!
