I couldn't wait. Ensberg hit a home run and now Everett hit one too. Apparently the pitcher for the D-backs, Vargas, broke Adam's left fore-arm in a pitch before. So as the announcer says, "pay back". I was a little nervous with Munson catching instead of Ausmus, but I'm beginning to feel better about it. Apparently he's going to be the personal catcher for Rodriguez. Nieve and Bucholz start tomorrow, two new pitchers for the 'Stros. Wow! What a great hit by Taveras! A triple right down the line. Get him home Berkman! I like Lance a lot better with his facial hair, and I don't even like facial hair. Maybe I'll just have to wait until the playoffs for that. Ah well, Berkman is out the inning closes. What a waste, but at least I got to watch him break his bat. Oh man, what a blunder in the outfield. Taveras and Wilson both went for it and nobody got it. If anyone hasn't seen the old Zelda TV show, I encourage them to do so. Well excuseeee meee, Princess. Great, Rodriguez and Wilson managed to contain the damage. We're ahead 2-0. Bases loaded, no outs. Munson up to bat. The camera is near this one person that keeps making this noise like "HAYeehhhhhhhhh" every five seconds leading up to the pitch. Munson strikes out. We need someone to come up and hit a homer! Everett up to bat.... do it again Adam! Fair ball down the line, two-run double. Oh Adam, if you were my age and unmarried, I might just not have the guts to talk to you. And that's saying something. Lane scores off of Rodriguez; 5-0. This may just be making up for our loss yesterday. Sorry for those who don't like baseball. Truth be told, I was never a fan until last semest. And I'm a fair-weather fan. But I'm not ashamed of it. Who wants to watch their team lose? Now if it were something short, like a soccer game, that's something else. But a baseball game will go on for hours and if we're losing, that's just studying time lost. Biggio out, closing the inning. Man, Bigg just hasn't had a good batting game. Every time he's been up he's gotten out. Way to go Berkman! Hits a great ball just beyond shortstop and gets Taveras to third. Ensberg up.. what can you show us, Morgan? Apparently a strike-out. Wilson drives in Taveras; 6-0. Munson gets Berkman home; 7-0. Everett up. I'm looking for a way to print out Triple Triad cards... if anyone knows how, let me know. An amazing catch by Byrnes in center field. That's too bad, it would have been a great hit for Everett. Lane hits a home run, the second this season; 9-0. Burke goes in to take over second and Lamb gets first. *sigh* Chris Burke is my hero. Lamb and Everett made a great play and Lamb gets the next two outs. Apparently Everett is getting some recognition as a really great shortstop. Ensberg just missed getting a homer! It bounced off of the yellow line, driving Taveras home yet again. 10-0. I'm making my own cards as we speak. Bottom of the ninth; Bruntlett replaces Taveras. Gallo takes over for Qualls on the mound. Well, that's the end of the game. Great job 'Stros! Oh wow, Adam Everett is being interviewed! I'm so happy for him; he did a great job tonight. And he praises the other team mates, what a guy!
